What really determines the price in any golfers opinion (or better said : What am I willing to pay …) is the condition of the golf course. A few courses in the area are in very good conditions and some are not. Talk to your golf buddies and ask them their honest opinion about any of the below listed golf courses.

Gezien het zeer mooie weer in Florida verbaasd het mij dat er enkele banen toch in ‘slechte’ conditie verkeren. Dit weekend hebben wij 2 banen in de omgeving gespeeld, El Diablo en StoneCreek. Met El Diablo heb ik altijd een haat liefde verhouding, vanwege de moeilijkheids graad van de baan en het daardoor een uitdaging vindt om daar goed te spelen, maar de conditie van de baan laat vaak te wensen over. StoneCreek staat hoog op mijn favoriete lijst, omdat die altijd in zeer goede conditie is, mooi clubhuis en goedkope green fees heeft (ook in het weekend)

El Diablo, fairways en teebox in redelijke conditie, greens zijn in top conditie en zeer snel. (green fee $ 28)

StoneCreek, fairways, tee box en greens in top conditie . (green fee $ 32.50)

P.s. op weg naar StoneCreek reden wij langs Candler Hills en die ziet er ook zeer goed uit. We hoorde ook zeer goede berichten over de conditie van Julliette Falls en Skyview ligt er zoals altijd helemaal top bij.

* informeer even bij de pro-shop van deze golfbanen vwb de greenfees, aangezien veel banen in de omgeving stunten met prijzen.

* En voor jullie in NL, het is hier de laatste 3 jaar nog nooit zo mooi weer geweest in Januari, fantastisch golf weer ……

Naar aanleiding van een paar postings op het forum van de VVL.

Klik op de link (download) hieronder voor de “Reservation & Restrictions” beschrijving van de Connell Lakeside Home Owners Association. Deze beschrijving is aangepast op 28 April 1998 waarbij Phase I & Phase II van Conell Lake werd toegevoegd. De eerste versie van de “Reservation & Restrictions” beschrijving dateerd van 3 September 1992 (Helaas heb ik die niet). De “Reservation & Restrictions” rules zijn gedeponeerd bij de Citrus County Court.

Ik weet ook niet of er nog steeds een Connell Lakeside Home Owners Association actief is. Wat ik wel weet is, dat de “Reservation & Restrictions” rules kunnen worden uitgevoerd door de Connell Lakeside Home Owners Association.  De HOA moet wel over statuten en financien beschikken om maatregelen te kunnen nemen tegen overtredingen die indruisen tegen de regelementen van de “Reservation & Restrictions”. Er is volgens de County niet iets zoals een expiration date of dat de “Reservation & Restrictions” niet legitiem zouden zijn. De HOA kan d.m.v. de “Reservation & Restrictions” rules actie ondernemen aan ieder die zich daar niet aan houdt.

Het is in ieders belang dat de regelementen worden nageleefd zodat Connell Lake (Lakeside) niet in een achterstands buurt veranderd. Ik zie een mooie en schone taak voor de VVL om eens een diepgaan ondezoek te starten en een mooi rapport te schrijven naar de VVL leden …. ;)
