The 18-hole “Meadows” course at the Citrus Hills Golf Club facility in Hernando, Florida features 5,885 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70 . The course rating is 68.5 and it has a slope rating of 114 on Bermuda grass.  Designed by Phil Friel, the Meadows golf course opened in 1983.

The 18-hole “Oaks” course at the Citrus Hills Golf Club facility in Hernando, Florida features 6,323 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70 . The course rating is 71.0 and it has a slope rating of 121 on Bermuda grass.  Designed by Mike Andrijiszyn, the Oaks golf course opened in 1983.

I discovered a new course ….  The 18-hole “Stoneybrook West” course at the Stoneybrook West facility in Winter Garden, Florida features 7,101 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 74.8 and it has a slope rating of 135. Designed by Arthur Hills, ASGCA, the Stoneybrook West golf course opened in 2000.

Editor’s note : Julliette Falls has a beautiful course layout and is very challenging. However, the editor has not been impressed with the quality of the course condition. We have seen the course in January 2010 (did not play it) and the greens and fairways were not in a great condition, obviously the December and January weather conditions played a part in that.

We have played this course many times before and every time we played it we enjoyed it. I have to say that the quality of the greens are much better then the fairways. Beautiful course design, friendly staff and the 19th hole is very inviting, but we were always a little disappointed about the course condition. Tip : This is just my opinion ….. So, check with their pro shop prior to your tee time reservation and inquire about the current course condition and let us know if we are wrong or not.
