Mr. Detiger,

I appreciate the response and we are aware of the conditions of the greens,  unfortunately from the neglect over the past few years the greens are slowly transitioning.  We expect full coverage by the middle of July and hopefully never run into these issues that have scared our reputation.  We are now using a proper agronomic plan and course conditions will continue to improve.

Thanks again for your response and like I said we are working hard to get Twisted Oaks back to a competitive playing condition, I just ask for your patience during this time.

Yes I do as always, but …….  By when do you think you have the greens fixed ? The course has a wonderful layout and we all like playing there, but the greens are awful. The fairways are far more better then 6 – 7 months ago, we have seen a significant improvement, now if you could only get the greens up to the level of Skyview or Lakeside …..

We have a large Dutch following on our blog http://floridagolfvakantie.com/blog/ and we report all kinds of tee time deals and golf course reviews … And our followers like the setup of your course, but stayed away from courses like Twisted Oaks, Pine Ridge and El Diablo due to the poor course condition(s).

So hopefully you can get the greens in fabulous condition before they all return from Europe this fall.

We hebben voor U een lijst samengesteld vwb green fees van de meeste golf courses in Citrus County en direkte omgeving.  De top banen hebben wij een 5 sterren rating gegeven op basis van moeilijkheids graad, kwaliteit en faciliteiten. Alle prijzen zijn onder voorbehoud. Bel de golf pro-shop voor tee time reservering en prijs bevestiging.

Wat opvalt in deze prijslijst is het feit dat de meeste banen veel goedkoper zijn geworden dan in voorgaande jaren mede door de economische crisis, maar Lakeside (en ook Citrus Springs)  - als we ook kwaliteit en  faciliteit mee laten tellen – zijn niet spectaculair gedaald in hun prijzen. Skyview is bijvoorbeeld $32.95 (was een paar jaar geleden nog $65) als U een VIP card heeft (Geen kosten aan verbonden) en als U s’middags op Julliette Falls (vroeger $ 75) gaat golfen bent u $ 36 dollar kwijt en dan hebben we het maar helemaal niet over StoneCreek ….. m.a.w. voor een paar dollar meer, kunt U een top baan spelen hier in de omgeving.

Voor de lezers in Nederland …..  21 graden vandaag met een strak blauwe hemel.
